Texas Hill Country Residents: START PREPARING FOR THE NEXT HILL COUNTRY TRADE DAY Tentative Date: Valentine's Day! * * * * * * * * * * * * THANK YOU to all participants of the October event! We had a good turnout and helped quite a few people. Bless you all! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Your input is needed. I'm considering changing the format of this event. If I were more computer savvy, I'd like to create an online space where folks could enter their haves and wants online, then contact each other to make the match happen. Meanwhile, perhaps a garage sale or church bazaar type event to benefit church missions, Angel food distributions to needy families, or the local teen pregnancy center? And what about timing? If we hold one big event annually (like a church bazaar) we could try to drum up support for a balloon walk, face painting, craft sales, bake sales, hot dogs, games, fire trucks to explore, etc. What do you think?
